Kafue Bridge reconstruction
A landmark reconstruction of one of the country's most heavily-trafficked river crossings, due for completion in late 2027.
Kafue Bridge reconstruction
The Kafue Bridge reconstruction is the largest active bridge programme in the country, with a projected design life of 100 years and a load capacity well above the previous structure.
Phase 1 — abutments and approach roads — is now complete. Phase 2, the main span, begins this quarter with prefabricated segment delivery already underway.
Local content on the project sits above 60% by value, with three Zambian sub-contractors taking lead roles on earthworks, drainage and concrete supply.
